Location: Kennesaw Campus, 1610 Cobb International Blvd, 30152
Instructor: Madison Allen
Our class is structured to acquaint the students with the “audition taping” process. Audition tapings are the new standard in the film and television industry, and allows casting directors to audition hundreds of actors and actresses from their computer screens at their convenience rather than having to see all the auditions in person.
Students will become familiar with the slating process, audition tapings, memorization, and character development. Each student will be given their own scene to memorize to perform on-camera for their own audition taping.
We firmly believe students learn more by doing than by sitting and listening to teachers, so we keep these classes small. Students will be in front of the camera every class. Footage will be made available to the parents to show how the students are progressing.
This class is the prerequisite for On Camera 2 and the Web Series Class in which the students star in the web series “Break a Leg.”
